Bali > Day Four

After two days of intense sightseeing action over Bali, it was finally time to relax and enjoy all that the Intercontinental Hotel had to offer. So …

The day started off with this …

While doing this …

Looking at views such as this …

And swimming in this ….. (on a side note, we did swim in the sea for a bit, until I started breaking out in hives. I guess I am still allergic to seawater … WOE!)

But as you can see from the photos, the skies weren’t entirely clear, and the clouds continually rolled in! Sure enough, soon after lunch, the weather turned from beautiful sunny beach weather to this …

Downpour! And super windy. We were swimming in the pool when the wind picked up and threw leaves at us. It was at that point that we realized it was probably time to head back to the room and leave any further beach going and swimming for our last day before we headed to the airport. Much sadness.

But the downpour didn’t last long, and we got treated to beautiful sunset colors soon after …

With the sun slowly setting over the horizon …

There was some live music going on, so we lounged in the gazebo in the pool and listened for a while

And then it was time to call it a night. It was the perfect day.

Next up, day five … and foodie entry! I didn’t take many photos the last day because we were trying to enjoy as much of the sun, surf, and pool before we had to head to the airport, so the entry will be about the food we ate while in Bali!
